last night, when i was preparing some food in the kitchen, my daughter  came to me with a note in her hand.

“bu, please read this, and answer the question i wrote in there…”

and this is her note:

dari: bianca

bianca sayang ibu
i love you.
ibu sayang aku engga?

and this is my answer:
sayang luar biasa! bianca adalah anak perempuan ibu yang paling disayang.

then she wrote another question:
aku iri sama benaia sama benezra. karena benezra dicium terus. kalau benaia aku harus ngalah sama benaia.

then i wrote this answer:
bianca ga perlu iri. ibu sayang sama semua anak ibu. ibu janji mulai sekarang ibu akan lebih sering cium bianca. bianca anak hebat, karena mau mengalah sama benaia yang masih kecil.
i love you, bianca!

and she ended her note by this:
i love you too.

i am so grateful that she would let me know how she really feels. sometimes it is important to know what lays in a bottom of a child’s heart. don’t you agree?
